My vision
Hi, my name is Nima and I'm the founder of SimpleSecurity. I've spent my whole career in IT and information security, with over 16 years of experience navigating different tasks and challenges in roles including SOC Analyst, Security Analyst, Team Lead for the Incident Response Team, CISO and Head of Security for the Nordic countries at a private medical company. Along the way I've had the privilege of sitting in roundtable meetings together with S&P 500 companies and key NATO speakers.
Across all of those roles and rooms, it always comes down to the same thing: almost every company faces the same kind of challenges within the information security field, and they are rarely simple ones. Information security is getting more and more difficult to navigate, with compliance and laws to keep up with, costs to justify and experience that is hard to come by. With all of that blocking the road, I've created SimpleSecurity to remedy this.
SimpleSecurity offers many services that communicate with each other at a low cost. For instance, downtime of any service triggers SLA. Assets MUST have owners for decision making and risk acceptance. Vulnerabilities should be reported to the risk owner for handling. Downtime impacts should be visualized and mapped. SimpleSecurity doesn't only give you the solution to all these problems, it automates much of the work behind them, and much much more.
With our platform you won't only have the solutions to technical challenges, but also governance built on top of the line frameworks and laws, including NIS2, ISO 27001, the EU AI Act and CIS v8. Supply chain and lifecycle handling come with it, since they all rely on each other.
My vision with SimpleSecurity is to make it affordable for all sizes of companies, and to keep it that way for as long as I can. I think everyone has the right to afford a good defence against attacks, no matter the size of the company.
Other companies offer good services, but they tend to stand alone and don't integrate with each other. That drives the cost up, because you have to complement them with other suppliers' and vendors' services, which still leaves you without integration.
Often these companies offer standalone services at higher costs and gather data. Me personally, I don't want your data. My goal is to make your company safe and offer quality services at low costs. Therefore I've also minimized data collection to the bare minimum needed to make the services work. You keep control at your fingertips over when and how your data gets erased, directly from within the platform.
